Would you like to install new lighting fixtures or other equipment to improve energy efficiency AND get paid for doing it? As of January 1, the Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program from FirstEnergy’s Ohio utilities has been reinstated.

FirstEnergy’s Ohio utilities (Ohio Edison, The Illuminating Company and Toledo Edison) offer a wide range of incentive programs to its business customers – including reimbursements for improvements to your facility that increase energy efficiency and reduce electricity consumption. Save money, reduce energy usage, and get paid for doing it!

Available to existing facilities and new construction projects, the Lighting Incentive Program is offered to Ohio commercial, industrial, governmental and institutional customers of Ohio Edison, The Illuminating Company and Toledo Edison (FirstEnergy’s Ohio utilities) to encourage participants to install high-efficiency lighting equipment.

​To qualify for incentives through the Lighting Incentives Program, equipment must be new and installed after January 1, 2017.
